Mount Gambier is on the border of South Australia. Mount Gambier was names after Lord Gambier R.N. in 1800. It used to be a volcano. It is now known as the limestone coast, created by large rainfalls and groundwater abundance.
It is a large mountain with a town surrounding it. At Mount Gambier, you can see the Blue Lake. It is a large lake. You could also visit the Umpherston Sinkhole or Tantanoola Caves. |
90 Mile Beach is located on the east coast of Victoria. It is one of the longest running beaches in the world. It is very natural with golden sand.
At this beach you can fish, swim, walk, whale or dolphin watch or just enjoy the sunshine. It is called 90 Mile Beach because it is 90 miles long. |
